Samuel and Elizabeth Ashford, 78 Lower Tower St. Had son Henry George (known as Harry) and 12 others (I think)
Henry married Joyce Hicks in 1946

sorry i dont know your relatives . but the bevan familly lived at number 64 lower tower street if any help x
 
Hicks's had a sweet shop on the corner of Lower Tower Street and Ward Street in the late 1930s early 1940s.

just picked up on your thread on the hicks,i knew the hicks very well indeed
they eventualy left aston and moved to ladywood;then they moved to winson green-- [ peel street ] then moved again to stechford, mannor rd ,
and thats where they disbanded joyce died there harry, -henry, died some years back they hada son called john a great freind to me and went to school
with me and my brother when we lived in ladywood,john died in the peel st address
is mom joyce in mannor rd stechford, the sibbling all stretch out around brum
one of the sibbling whom was valurie, she is a stewart of a irish social club
at the corner end of rotten park rd and the dudley rd end and the son sean,
goes out and lives with my wifes neice up in quinton
and there was beryl , the oldest girl to harry and joyce they live up by the waterworks rd on the monument rd by the ivy bush
nice family indeed
