Hello there,
Does anyone have any old pictures (from 1920s to 1940s) of Heybarnes Road?
I am trying to find some for my grandmother who lived there in the 30s and 40s.

I came across your post earlier I spotted your last name is Glew
Is your Grandmother a Glew ?
We are also Glew's from Birmingham and with the surname being very rare I through their might be a connection
With our families somewhere ?
We have gone back 10 generations with our tree.

Hi Cath,
Thanks for your message. My paternal grandmother was a Glew (Nellie Glew) but she came from Batley in Yorkshire. Maternally, my grandmother is an O'Connor and she was the one from Birmingham.
We may cross somewhere else down the line. My father was Stephen Frank Glew, and his father was Percy Glew.
