Interesting thoughts but any suggestion as to what that would be at that time in history?

Guys you are bang on. Linda has checked the Glasgow Post Office Directory and disovered that yes an 'Eating House' existed at that address. Yes Barrie Café is the most likely.

Without your suggestions we would not have been able to take that next step.

We thought you may like a look at No 10 Ferguson Street in 1963 shortly before it was demolished going by the state of other houses in the street.
