help needed

hi folks my sister found this on the net...and was on a youtube about the my creepiest places in gloucester..so far i have identified the location as being outside the ancient ram inn...i wonder if anyone would be able to find it on you tube to find out what date the photo was taken and to maybe get a better look at the mans face as we think its of our dad...sorry i dont have anymore info but like me my sister is not computer savvy and she cant find it again...many thanks for any help

thanks for finding the you tube pedro...is there anyway of knowing the date of it...the most important thing is trying to date the photo of the man standing outside the pub when the video gets to 12 mins 56 secs its a shame his face is not very clear...im afraid this is a tall order though

The video looks to have been posted 2 weeks ago. It looks to be a site from the US and their info could also have been gathered from the internet.
You can try to email the uploader by visiting the site Oldways Britain. You could also put a comment on the video itself and someone may reply.

If you put Ancient Ram Inn Wotten in to Google and check images there are numerous views. Quick check can only find this of a person outside.

thanks for the advise pedro and thats a great photo...i will ponder over the weekend as to what i will do to try and date the photo on post 1...i would not mind going to visit the old ram pub its right up my street

The section of film which starts at 12.46 is dated 2017 after the owner died that year. Is he the chap in the image?

i doubt it jan as the the owner died as you say in 2017 but he was aged 89...i dont think the man in the photo looks that old..just to show why i think it could be my dad here is a photo of him with mom in aug 2008 outside the bell in at skenfrith.. so many things are similar..the height ..white hair..clothes..the stance..dad didnt drive but they travelled a lot and had many day trip coach tours...sadly dad had a stroke in dec 2008 and was then bed ridden so if the photo was taken after early dec 2008 them it cant be him..maybe just wishful thinking

jan i think if it is dad someone else took the photo and its just been floating around on the net since then..cant be sure about anything really or even if if it is dad so i think it could just be another one of those maybes...

Lyn, I found this by reverse image search on Google, I don't know if it's any clearer.

I could use AI on it but as you know it is prone to change facial features.

thanks john i still cant be certain as i said earlier it could just remain a possible unless a date comes up showing the photo was taken after early dec 2008 in which case it cant be our dad...will let you all know if i can pin it down
