Help! Finding correct church

Hi there,

I researched marriages within my family tree and found that they should be at St. Martins in Birmingham, however they are not listed. Anybody know how to find out where they were married. I have already looked at the IGI.

Jacob Ernest FACER married Mabel TOWNLEY
APR-JUN 1924

Jacob FACER married Affie MYATT (Moyatt)
APR-JUN 1897

Jacob FACER married Emily FELTON
APR-JUN 1865

Thats all the info I have, really looking for Parents details and if anyone signed registers etc.

Could these be the two from 1881 Census just a thought can't find a marraige

As you already know they are not online, you could visit the library and look through the parish records or what i think is the best option and that is send for the certificates.
You may already have this information but just in case you don't, this is all you need to order them --

Bren just double checking dates and found you had put 1877 and so I changed it to 1897 for you, which is what I think you meant to post...

However I also found a different number for Jacob in 1865

I noticed that yesterday, Pomgolian, but on checking the pages one was obviously wrong. Page 698 is somewhere else (Stratford, from memory) and must be a wrong transcription years ago to the index register.

Emily Felton & Jacob Facer marriage registered 2nd quarter 1865 in Aston, vol 6d page 398 (Note: Jacob's entry is incorrectly down as page 698)

Well spotted, thank you very much.

FreeBMD have got that one wrong for Jacob 1865, if you click to see others on page they are all Stratford so i checked his spouse, Emily Felton and then checked it on Ancestry and it is Aston 398

Jacob Facer [father Abraham,mother Charlotte] married Emily and had 5 sons and a daughter.Joseph,William,Abraham,Jacob,Thomas and Martha.I have traced this family back to 1704 to West Haddon.The son Abraham was my granfather who married a woman called Ellen.This couple had sons Ernest,Joseph,Sydney and Leonard [my father].There was also a daughter called Ivy
