Hi Alf,
We are near chepstow, but I joined to try and get details about my family, who on bothsides come from Walsall. My grandad worked at the hercules factory, and amazingly I've just come across a picture of him on this forum! - looking spendid I may say.

I'm looking into the family history thing (who isnt) and my mum side (moran) and my dads side (Pritchard) both come from Walsall.

I'm interested in finding out about what they did at the factory in WWII as I know that grandad had a reserved occupation supervising the making of Munitions - there is a family picture (somewhere) of a gang show - grandad being centre stage!

So I'm very impressed to have found out stuff after only a few days of joining!

You will be alright here we have members who lie in Walsall. Also Mom & Dad met at Hercules.

There is quite a bit about Munitions on the Forum and I'm sure it won't be long before help will be around.
