According to 1841 census John was born in Birmingham about 1796 - I wonder if someone could look him up and who his parents were.

Baptism of John Hayward, 19th August 1793, ST. Phillips, parents John /Mary
appears to have a brother baptised 17th May 1791.

Shera thank you so much for looking. And Alberta, I have been looking for John Hayward's parents on and off for years and I suspected he had a brother so thank you very much.

Thank you for that info Alberta I was going to ask you to look. At last something that takes at least this family back before 1795.
