 Does anyone know where Harborne Road Boys School was in 1918?

I asked at the B'ham Library Archives, but they were unable to help.

Thanks all.....Florence

I have spent many hours over the years reading the pages about the start of Education in the Birmingham area. It is a fascinating read. Firstly, about the actual formation of school boards and the great work carried out by George Dixon who was instrumental in pushing forward education for both children and adults in Birmingham. The link to this information which covers three very long pages contains just about every school in the city before l961. It seems that some of the very first girls cookery classes were held in a Summer Lane school.

If you scroll right down to the end of the first page on Education you will see on the right hand side the link to the Lists of Schools.
