Hanson/Bridgen marriage look up please

Jayell

master brummie
From the IGI - Sarah Hanson married Samuel Bridgen on 27 August 1832 at St Martins. If anyone has access to the records could you tell me if there are any witnesses listed. Thanks a lot.

hi your date and names are correct. they were bachelor and spinster.

the witnesses are robert powell and alexander sanders.

i know that alexander sanders was an official at the church who witnessed many of the marriages.

Thank you Shera - I thought you might be kind enough to answer my question :)

I just wanted the witness names to confirm if possible whether this was my Sarah, but I am still not sure. Must do some more work now that I have this information. Thank you again for replying so quickly.

Hi Jayell, one of my family names is Hanson. My nan was Elsie, and the other brothers and sisters were Bill, Ike, Emma, Lavinia and there are a few more which I need to look up in my family history. They lived in the Birmingham area, including Floodgate Street. Are they any of your relations do you know?

Regards

Hi Christina

None of the names you mention are in my family to my knowledge but I will have a good look through my notes and see what I can come up with. I will email you direct. Not sure whether you should delete your email address from your message rather than have it on display!
