Before I start on the Hambleton and Airey family connection, I am just wondering if anyone out there has already done anything on either of these names. I have the following information so far:
Florence Airey, a spinster of 4 lime ave, Wynn st. ( born 1873) married George Thomas Hambleton, a bachelor (poulter'er) of 152 Phillips street, Aston manor, at the register office on 12th October 1899, her father James Airey (deceased), was a Commercial traveller, his father (George) was Benjamin hambleton a groom.
Witnesses Margaret Airey and George Wright.

I would be grateful for any clues. :D

Hello - My family believe the post relates to a connection to our Grandfather. My mother is Grace Woodcock, nee Grace Hambleton, the only surviving member of 5 children to Albert Hambleton and Emily Rodgers. Benjamin Hambleton (groom - married twice) appears to be her Grandfather, being the father of Albert, product of the first marriage. Should this be a correct connection, further info is to hand. Do we assume you are researching on someones behalf? We hope this assists.

:D Thanks for that, I am researching for my Mother, Joyce Hambleton. I would be grateful for any information you may have. Could you please contact me at [email protected]

This Albert Hambleton (son of Benjamin Hambleton) appears to be the grand uncle of your Albert Hambleton (son of Horace Albert Hambleton) from other thread, being the brother of Horace's father, George Thomas Hambleton.
