I guess it depends on your starting point. Google maps says that the distance between Sarehole Mill and Sparkhill Library is 1.5 miles or 27 mins walk, whereas Sarehole Mill to Acocks Green Library is 2 miles or 37 mins walk. Not all that much difference.

You could get the bus back then like now, so on the 11A or 11C. Both libraries are reachable by bus.

Wm Sanford is listed in 1921 Kelly's as a florist of Billesley Lane, Kings Heath. In the same directory Mrs Bevins is listed at Jessedene but there is no nursery listed.
