The Wikipaedia article is incredibly detailed and interesting and confirms that at one time [1200s] the Abbey controlled both the manors of Harborne & Smethwick as well as the advowson of St Peters Church, Harborne.

While the remains of Halesowen Abbey are owned by English Heritage, the surrounding land is private with no access to the building. The exterior of a barn at Manor Farm incorporates some medieval stone and can be seen from a footpath near the Black Horse pub.

The British Museum has some decorated tiles which I have seen.

Obviously taken with a long lens from the footpath, but it does show considerable remains of the abbey still exist.
