Does anyone have any info on Walter Thomas Greenwood, born 1869 in Manchester. He married my Aunt Prudence nee Green, and then lived in Leicester. Did they have children? Who was Walter's father. Any help would be gratefully received. Thank you.:redface:

(My own Gran & Granddad did just that! On the marriage cert' there is only five years between them, when in fact there was more like ten).

Help needed again please? My Grandfather was Alfred Green. I'd thought that he was born in Birmingham but now think it was Leicester, and he moved to Birmingham afterwards.
If I see anything about him, it always adds that Prudence Davies was his wife, but I can find nothing to verify this. I did find a marriage which could have been him, but the wife's name was missing. Alfred was born 1849 aprox, and Pru was about 1850. her name was Davies, and she was born in Birmingham. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful. You always mange to come up trumps somehow. Many thanks. Eileen.

I can find no marriage for a Prudence Davies or Davis to a Green( I have cross checked GRO index)

The birth certificate of Prudence Esther Green should throw more light on it.
 
Many thanks for your effort, at least you have given me two new addresses I didn't have. They certainly moved around a lot. You'd think that our past relaitives would do things properly, so that we could find them more easily, wouldn't you. Very inconsiderate of them not to get wed. I wonder why? Do you think that one of them might already have been married to someone else?
