Hi,
I lived at 4 Greenway St from 1942 / 1962. I think it was next door to the shop you mentioned I remember a daughter it could have been Yvonne cant quite remember. We had a large garage joined to our house where space was rented out to cars who was lucky enough to own one , also a Coal Truck was parked up the at night my dad used to sweep the truck & collect the coal bits to burn on our fire, at one time we had an ice cream cycle stored & when he came back late afternoon he would give us the ice cream that was left, On Blues match day's my dad would look after the bikes for the fans while the match was on.. I really wished we had a photo of all the bikes that were packed tightly up the yard, when the yard was full the stray bikes that came late would come into our front room leaning against our sideboard, I continually look at old photo's hope someone had taken a picture.
