Hi all
I am writing to see if we can track down untraceable parts of our family tree.
My Grandad was Rex Green, he was born 1933 in Attwood Green, his parents were Lilian Jones who married Harry Green in 1926. Harry did a runner when Rex was young and no one is sure where he went. Harry was born in 1900 and had been living in a hostel on Alchester road prior to marrying Lilian. Lillian gave up the child to her parents to ill health- Richard Jones and Sophie Jones from Cardigan Street. Lillian died 1942 living in 115 Calshot Road, Great Barr, she possibly was living with another man called William Taylor and had another child. Rex was bought up on Cardigan Street.
When my Grandad Rex Green got married to my nan (|Dorothy Green) another lady attended, we were told this was grandad Rexs sister, also called Dorothy Green, but nobody saw her again. We would love to know if she is still alive and if we have any long lost family out there?
Thanks
Sarah
