GREAVES, Benjamin

theodore

master brummie
Benjamin Greaves b. Birmingham 1885 abt. Found on ER 1920, 25, 35 living at 23 Quinton Buildings, Ledsam St., Birmingham. Possible marriage to Annie (?) and a daughter also called Annie (ER info). Have not found any census records or a marriage that seems correct with what little I have. Discharged from Army 1917 (pension details from which address above given but no details for year of birth or if married or single). Any help (regards census or marriage info) would be much appreciated .

Peter

Benjamin Greaves b 1882 Halesowen, son of George & Jane. Married Annie Hardwick, reg Sep qtr 1907.

With Benjamin & Annie on Ledsam Road on 1921 census are 3 children, George Benjamin, Annie and Rose.

Just about to say that the Benjamin born in 1885 appears to die in 1888 so is not likely to be the one required

By 1939 Benjamin appears to be living with another woman on St Mark's Road, Annie is on Masshouse Lane with son and his family.

Also on 1901

Hi Janice and MWS

Thank you both for your help.
If the 1921 census shows Benjamin, Annie with the 3 children living at 23 Quinton Buildings, Ledsam St. then its the Benjamin I've been looking for.

Peter

The address listed on 1921 census is 23 181 Ledsam Street, which look at the map, back of 181 are Quinton's Buildings.
