Grave care (and opinions, please)

Hello again,
I had posted in another section (WW2) that I was looking for any help with the location of my grandfather. After speaking with a U.K. family member, I now know that he is buried in Yardley. Unfortunately, the grave is only marked by a small 'vase' and the word DADDY.
I would like to find out the feasablity (financially) of hiring someone to take a look at it for a little maintenance. Does anyone know if there is such a thing?
Also he is a civilian war dead, killed by an incendiary bomb (he was in the fire service), and I think some sort of additional identification would be appropriate. Any opinions??

Hello Sophiesmom, I can't answer your question about the maintenance of your grandfather's grave, but I can tell you that it is likely that his name appears on a memorium tablet outside St Martin's Church. It is a recent memorial erected to those civilian's who lost their lives in an air raid. If you post his name, I am sure some one will tell you .
 
Some where on this site there is a link to the names of all the people on that memorium stone Di,but i cant think what it would come under. Any idea's to help Sophiesmom.
 
Hi, and thanks for the replies! Would that be the Tree of Life? (I think it's called). If so I have seen a photo of it, but, of course, I would never be able to see the name.
Icarus, I have found my grandfather on the swanshurst site (I am also posting on the WW2 thread) and he is listed there, but sadly as having no relatives (which begs an existential question...).
