I think so as the telegraph pole almost covers the second window.Could the sign be obscured by the telegraph pole ?
It seems the plaque isn't very, very old. In this photo the building doesn't have one. All the same a nice feature. Viv.

used to be the white horse pub vivThis is at the junction of Constitution Hill and Northwood Street. On the Northwood Street side I think it reads 'Wines and Spirits'. Above the White Horse Cellars sign I think it says 'Of'. But the words on the Constitution Hill side I'm unable to decipher. Viv.
