the proper address was 8/55 Bertha Buildings Barford Road Bham 16
we lived there from 1955 to 1976. right facing Brandon Passage @ Barford Road School sandra x:)
 
Jean, Lewis was actually Louis

Louis Marshall George born 27th August 1924 to William H George and Elsie F nee Wood.

Louis married Minnie Rosina Price in 1945 Birmingham

Minnie Rosina Price born 27th october 1927 to Ernest Price and Minnie nee Dugmore

I found Louis Marshall George death in 1990 so presume they divorced as Minnie Rosina George remarried in 1876 and she died in 1983.

Thank you Alberta I will phone this information through to Sandra later as they have no internet connection at the moment. Just moved back into the Harbour.
