Some of the George Dawson sculptures I've seen in Birmingham over the years.
I saw this bust of George Dawson in the Shakespeare Memorial Room at the Library of Birmingham.
Near it was this description:
During 2016 on the 400th Anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, the bust (maybe the same one as above) was in a special Shakespeare exhibition that was on at the Library of Birmingham from April to September 2016.
The first bust I saw of George Dawson was at the Birmingham Museum Collections Centre in 2012.
Outside the Shakspeare Memorial Room is this larger bust of George Dawson.
Also to be found at the Birmingham Museum Collections Centre, seen in 2012 is the statue of George Dawson. It used to be in Chamberlain Square, but has been in storage for a long time.

George Dawson, first president of the Birmingham Shakespeare Club, and a noted Birmingham philanthropist and politician, this terracotta model was probably a study for the statue of Dawson in Great Charles Street.
