hi gough...i have these photos...photos 1 and 4 shows kings edward road to the right...photo 2 shows numbers 10.11 and 12 garbett st this one is dated 1950 so taken when you lived in the street...hope this helps

A map from 1950s, unfortunately I don't think any of the photos show No. 24 but I will look to see if there is an aerial view.

Photo 3 is taken looking towards Shakespeare Road from Garbett Street.

here is a photo of the beehive pub and the old robin hood although i am not sure where in the old robin hood was expect it was on a corner with garbett st

The 1871 and 1921 census has the Old Robin Hood at 102 Garbett Street, corner of Summer Hill Road.

Aerial view of Garbett Street 1937 (not good quality), doesn't seem to match the map very well so I assume some houses were lost to bombing or demolition. I think No. 24 is the one arrowed.

I'm in the process of tracing my childhood experiences, I do have memories of living in Garbett Street and from the research I've been doing, it turns out that my family were one of the last to be relocated from Garbett St.
We lived in 7/68 Garbett St early 1960s.
