when you have been down it's a friend  you need say I say thank to a friend.

And So My Friend



If I know trouble you might be bearing

Or grief in the silence of your face

I’ll be tender gentle and caring

Try to give you gladness in its place

If I know of thoughts despairing

I will really try to understand

And give to you lots of loving

Along with friendship’s helping hand
