Tomato dips

Me tooooooooooooo

We used to nip out of school at playtime and get some..always asking for the 'crusts' of course

I was very lucky I lived in Alexandra Rd, went to Boulton Rd infants School 1955-1960 then Rookery Rd School 1960-1965, we would pop into Freds Cafe on the way home from School, I remember it was full of Blue Circle lorry drivers, who looked a bit intimidating at the time.
The crust was a particular delicacy and it was always in greaseproof paper, which we would keep and use on the slide at black patch park. happy days.
