waft of nostalgia,,,strange how certain smells can reactivate memories over so many years.
I fondly remember your Nans shop on "th Lane" and the occassion that I as a nipper in 1962/3 collected
a large order for my Mother and local family, I had never seen such wonderful bouquets and beautiful
flowers in my life ,,the aromas were so nice they seemed to overpower a foggy November day.
Carefully loading the numerous bunches on to my "Go-ey" 4 wheels + plank+ big box// Actually a
Ferrari 330 Testa Rossa Le Mans 62 Winner,,,In my young mind, then carefully wheeled it home,
Not a stem broken or a petal crushed & sixpence in my pocket,,Given to me by I think a lovely lady
who must have been your Nan, a kind person who smelled as sweet as her beautiful flowers,,
