Fletcher Family - St Martins / Old Inkley Street

Hi all, I'm completely stuck with my Fletcher family and I'm hoping someone may have a connection.

Here's what I've got:

Richard Fletcher married Ursula Simpson 15th June 1821 Saint Martin Birmingham

Children:

Thomas Fletcher 1825 Birmingham
Mary Fletcher 1828 Birmingham
Clara Fletcher 1831 Birmingham (Mother named Ellen on record)
Frances Fletcher 1838 Birmingham

In the 1841 cenus the family is living in Old Inkley Street (Hinkley Street) All Born in the county.

I think Ursula Fletcher died in 1842 and in the 1851 Richard is living with his son Thomas Fletcher & family in Queen St, St Philip Birmingham

Frances known as Fanny married Joseph Bagshaw in 1862

Many thanks!

Lesley

Hello Lesley,

You don't really say what info you're looking for.

There's a baptism on familysearch for a Richard Fletcher, son of William Fletcher and Ann - 1 Oct 1798 at St Phillips.

Thank you for the reply. I was hoping to find someone else who had a connection to the same family, and of course to see if I can trace the family any further back. Thank you for the information regarding the 1798 Baptism!

Doesn't help with the research but there's a burial record for a Robert Fletcher on familysearch - buried on 10th April 1831 at St Philips's, son of Richard and Ursula born 1827.

Also (sorry if you have this already) on the 1841 census (freecen) there's a Thomas Fletcher listed as a Brass Founder living at a place called Five Dwellings with a John & Mary Simpson (uncle and aunt?)
