HI MIKE
How are you keeping fine i hope ,?.
just been reading your request and as i know that part of the city very well , i noticed that you
are researching your ancesters of the fishers family do you know whether or not you have connections to the fisher family in harborne which isjust down the road from there a have a big offices on the bottom
of the high street next to the green man pub
they are big flyers in brum and play apart of the city runnning .a life long friend of mine
introduced me to them quite afew years ago whom my friend is a big flyer himelf whom now lives in tamworth
in a big farm house but during the seventyies one of them lived in hagley rd and a neibour to
the mr harry fabour [ judge ] for many years whom family members are running the city justice system now
around the courts circuit ;
as you may or not know king norton is only down the rd and in those days it was all countryfied
and came under the worcester county
i thought i might just mention this in case your tree comes to light that you may be connected through sibbling
there offices are still therend as busy as the day they ever opened
i noticeed our friend whom came up with the dates also put up the golby family whom may or not may have been apart of my family tree or should i say my mohers side as i have previou learnt that the william jelf married a golby
member and my uncle was a golby and he and his brothers changed there name when they was older enough
to there fathers name and my mothers maiden name was jelf ;ad her sibbling is a big flyer in oxford now
using his fathers name jelf ; he had to change by deed poll of course
so i will be following and researching my uncles name more now
any way mike i thought i might just askedand mentined it
have a nice day best wishes astonion ;;
