Finding living relatives

We are trying to locate the children of Rose Emily Ladd and Alfred E Ladd who we believe were living in Birmingham.

The children were:
Joy (1947)
Barbara (1949)
Margaret (1951)
Ann (1952)
Alan (1954)

We cannot see them on ancestry (but we have some marriage details) has anyone any tips on tracking them down?

it might be worth starting with the directories of trade
as there was a couple of shops arpound brum many years ago
trading as ladds television and radio shop and ladds television rentals ;
