For those of you who like "old movies" then you may be interested in a TV channel called Talking Pictures.
It is I believe only on Sky at the moment, on channel 343 (in the Movie section), though I believe it is due to go on to other platforms like Freeview soon.
It is run by a group of people who "rescue" old films and they show movies (many of them British) mostly made between the 1920s and the 1960s though they have some from the 70s and 80s
There are some very rare films, some of them I had never heard of.
It is great to try to spot actors in early roles. In a film the other day called The Blue Parrot from 1953 I saw Ballard Berkeley, who went on to play the "Major" in Fawlty Towers.
They show many crime dramas from the 1950s and 1960s, and also some old comedies from the 1950s and 1960s which are great for spotting people like Arthur Lowe, Sid James, Joan Sims, Hattie Jacques, Tommy Cooper etc.
They only have a limited number of films so they do tend to show the same films over and over, but it is still interesting.
They do have a web site here, where you can buy some of the films.
