Does anyone have information on the Farndon Family? Thomas William Farndon, Nellie (Lea) Farndon, Gwendoline Farndon, Winnie Farndon.

Blessings,
Linda

Hi Linda,

From 1920-1945 Thomas William & Nellie Farndon were listed at 255 Cherrywood Road Saltley in 1930 Emily Elizabeth Farndon is listed there followed in 1935 by Gwendoline Farndon and 1939 John Walter Farndon. I can't find them after 1945.

Nellie passed away in 1924, so mabye Emily is the woman Thomas married. Gwendoline was born in 1910, moved to Germany with her Aunt Winnie after her mother died. I do not know if she came back to her childhood home. I do not know who John Farndon is. My grandmother immigrated to Canada, then the United States in 1955.

Thanks for the info!

I used to work with an Andrew Farndon from Wylde Green. Had two brothers. Jean.

The only Farndon's that I know of were my Grandmother, her sister and their father. I don't know if he had more children when he remarried. I also don't know if he had any brothers or sisters.

Thomas W Farndon married Emily E Banham june 1928 Birmingham.N 6d 1090. John Walter is their son born March 1930 Birmingham.S 6d 307.

My friends Mum and Dad were Thomas and Mary Farndon and they ran the Imperial sweetshop at Yew Tree Yardley in the early 1960's. They had 2 daughters. Not sure if they fit in with your Farndons?
