Amazing pics Lyn, so pleased for you and well done Lynne:) I know how you feel as I found pictures of Gt grandparents recently and one of grandfather who died weeks before I was born (dad never had any pics) and I would have bet everything on the fact I would never ever get photos!

A really great find.....nothing better than putting a face to a name on your tree, does bring life back into them.....very happy for you

So pleased for you Lyn, I think I was as excited as you, just noticed on post 16, looks like neighbours in the background.
Lynne.

Lyn, well aren't you the lucky one. I know if that happened to me, I would feel like I had won the lottery! Wonderful news. I felt lucky when I found someone with a picture of my gt grandmother's sister when she was very old, but you must feel marvellous.

HI Lyn just had a happy period reading about and looking at your family and ancestors, thanks for posting so very interesting.

thanks again everyone...i am more than happy thats for sure.its amazing to think that i can now put faces to some of the names i have on the census reports..until now they were just names..i think the tree holder is frances winifreds grandaughter and she has passed a message onto lynne to say she will get in touch with me as soon as she has time ...she had family from abroad arriving for 6 weeks so will quite righty be taken up with their visit..

lynne i noticed the nosey neighbours as well lol.. oh and that gus and ernest were at each others weddings..

Brilliant Lyn! What a fantastic find. I know what it's like to find the odd 1 or 2 from long lost rellies, but to get all those is wonderful.:triumphant::triumphant:

I'm still hoping to find my maternal grandfather's picture when he joined up in 1912. It was always hanging on his wall when I was little but the only living relatives don't know anything about it.:sorrow:
