Family of Henry Shaw and Elizabeth Smalbroke Birmingham

Hello everyone,
I am in NSW Australia and new to this forum and hope that you can help me. I have been researching my ancestors in Warwickshire, and believe that there is a link back to the Smalbroke and Colmore Families of Birmingham.
Elizabeth Smalbroke (1575-1661) (Parents Thomas Smalbroke and Elizabeth Colmore) married Henry Shaw (1565-1640) in about 1592 in Warwickshire. In the book "Smalbroke Family of Birmingham 1550-1749" by Marie Fogg he is referred to as Henry Shaw of Solihull. I have spent a great deal of time trying to find records on line from the Archive sites and publications, but cannot definitively find a pedigree for their family line. I am not sure if Henry Shaw was a farmer, mercer or Ironmonger. The Smalbroke and Colmore families being involved in all these occupations. I believe they had a son Thomas Shaw (1602-1661) who married an Elizabeth (maybe halhead) but any further information has proven elusive. There are many Thomas Shaw's who were Silversmiths in Birmingham, I am not sure if I would be lucky enough for the family to be involved in this or whether they were farmers. However, the Colmore family contributed land to the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham and given the family ties, it would seem to fit neatly. However, nothing can be taken for granted. Is there anyone else in this forum who has been researching descendants of any of of these families who might be able to give me even the smallest tidbit to help with my search. I am trying to link the Shaw Family, by marriage to the Satchwell Family and by marriage to the Kilby (Kilbee) Family and by marriage to the Bant Family all families which lived in the Birmingham area. Hope to hear from someone soon. Veronica

You don't give any time frame for these marriages.

These didn't take much looking so I assume you must have seen them but there are 3 Shaw/Satchwell marriages (1756, 1859, 1887) in Bham/Warks. There's also a Bant/Satchwell (1774) marriage in Wootten Wawen and a Bant/Shaw marriage (1815) in Aston.

I see the Thomas Shaw/Elizabeth Halhead marriage took place in Banbury 1635 and you may have resolved this but there appear to be baptisms in Banbury for Shaw children with father Thomas starting in 1636.

Thanks very much for replying. I should have been more specific on the marriages, I was just not sure how much info to give all at once.
I have found and am comfortable with the Marriages from Mary Shaw (1703- 1771) to Samuel Kilby (1695-1765) and going forward from there to Job Bant (1785 Tanworth -1855 London) and Sarah Morse (1789-1825), who marry in London.

My brick-wall is the link from Henry Shaw (? c 1565 - 1640?) & Elizabeth Smalbroke (1575-1661) down to Mary Shaw (1703 Warmington -1771 Combrook).
Henry Shaw
is a complete mystery. I have him buying land in Solihull in 1605 and he is listed as living in Birmingham at the time of the purchase. Therefore, his children born between 1593 and 1602 (I think) would have been born in Birmingham.
I am confident Henry and Elizabeth Shaw had a son Thomas Shaw (1602-?) who married Elizabeth Halhead (1615 Banbury-1698?). This marriage in 1635 at Banbury, Oxfordshire is correct, but I think all the children would have been born in Warwickshire.
However, I am looking to confirm that Thomas Shaw (1602-?) and Elizabeth Halhead.
had a son Thomas Shaw (?-1668) bur. St Giles, Sheldon, Birmingham who married Elizabeth Newton (Nowton)(?-?) on 1 Jul 1658 in Sheldon W'shire.
They had a son Thomas Shaw (c 1659 Dunchurch - 1710?) married Sarah (unknown) in 1682 at Dunchurch.
who had a son Thomas Shaw (c 1638 Dunchurch - ?) married Mary (unknown)
who had a daughter Mary Shaw (1703-1771) who married Samuel Kilby (1695-1765) in 1722 at Combrook and so on.
It is all these Thomas Shaw's that I cannot confirm with any certainty.

Let me know if I can help with anymore information.
