Fake Photos

The Taunton Road omnibus depot is referenced in the (excellent and very detailed) thread "Midland Red Early Days", but the photo was lost in the site hack. Apparently it appears on Page 13 of Malcolm Keeley's book "Midland Red Bus Garages of the Birmingham General Omnibus Department" .... the BGO ran the depot. Does anyone have a copy of that photo they can post here?

As far as I can find out most Birmingham omnibus proprietors merged around 1885 into the Birmingham General Omnibus Co. (BGO) and sometimes refered to as Birmingham Omnibus Co. (?)
The BGO had the Shirley route as one of their principle routes.

Fake or not the original picture has contributed to our knowledge of Birmingham.

Next to where the Clifton Inn was situated was the Mission Church. It now looks to be a Nursery, but nice how they have retained the frontage.

(The second picture could be thought of as a fake as I have removed a car)
