as brian has said a lovely service for a lovely man...we entered to the royal warks fusilier on the bugle..elgars nimrod was played during the service and at the end we had the last post..so for one last time eric just for you elgars nimrod....god bless you

I am sorry to tell all members that the lovely Eric , a longstanding member of BHF has passed away.

Lyn/Astoness noticed he hadn't posted for a while and asked if i could see if he was OK.

I knocked the neighbours door today and he told me the sad news .
Eric was taken ill a few weeks ago and when his nephew visited he called an ambulance, Eric being Eric refused the chair and walked out, he then days later took a turn for the worst.
I have left my number with the neighbour who says he will let us know the date of the funeral.

R.I P. Eric we will miss your posts and your paintings
