absolutely amazing folks...last night i received an email from the gt grandson of charles bull...along with 3 photos of him..his silver star medal and the original invitation dated 1922 that charles bulls family received inviting them to the unveiling of the marble tablet at erdington post office..so now we know for certain that orginally the tablet was in erdington although not at the sorting office that is there now...so we now have 4 out of the 7 mens rellies that have come forward

Yet another great result Lyn. I somehow think the journey is far from over. I'm sure Sunday's re-dedication service will be a very moving occasion. Like many others I'm unable to attend, but will be thinking of you all (and the families of these men). And I'm sure you'll pass on our thanks to the families, we seem to have grown very attached to these men!

I haven't forgotten my promise to update the biographies of our postmen on our other thread, but family commitments have recently taken over. However, as further information still seems to be popping up, it's probably as well to wait a little longer. I'll update their biographies during the summer, when time permits.

And of course, it would be lovely to see any photos or hear of any snippets of info from those attending. Viv.
