Emerald Isles GAA club – Glebe Farm, mid-1950s

Hello all. My father, Mick Tierney from Loughmore, Co. Tipperary, played corner forward for the Emerald Isles GAA club in Birmingham around 1956, at Glebe Farm Recreation Ground. The manager or secretary was Jimmy McDonald.

Does anyone remember the club, or have photos, team lists or match reports from that time? Dad is now 94, and I'd love to share anything with him while I can.

Thank you,
Michael
