Electoral roll look up 1935 if possible please.

Sparkhill Boy

master brummie
I'm looking for the occupants of numbers 24 and 39 Williams St, Lozells during this period as I think they may have married each other.
Thanks if it is possible.

Hi,does this help?
1935
24 William Street
The Hood Family:Albert,Florence Gertrude,Thomas Leonard,Ida and Agnes Preece
39 William Street
William George Woodbridge and Ellen Woodbridge

Thanks Lady Linda.

The Hoods are right but a marriage cert shows that an Ida Long together with her father Herbert lived at 39 ??

Thanks for looking, Sparkhill Boy.

Again if this helps
In 1939 there was a houseful at 24!
The Hoods (Albert,Thomas Leonard and Ida) Emma Starkey,Minnie Evelyn Starkey,Agnes Preece,James Dowdle and William Thomas Childs!
William George Woodbridge and Ellen Woodbridge were still at 39.

Sounds as though there was a right old party going on at 24, but at least it puts Thomas Leonard and Ida together! Who the others are I don't know.

Thanks again, Sparkhill boy

Hi, there's an Ida Elizabeth Long and Ignatius Long living at 16 Kensington Street in 1935 and 1939 and 1945
1n 1950 it was Ida and John J Potter and William H G Sims
In 1955 it was Ida and John J Potter
(Posted before I read your reply as to whom Ida's father was!)
