Electoral Roll - Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield - Mees Buildings

I've been asked to research a building on Boldmere Road (Big Boldmere) which I believe was next to what is now The Vesey pub. The current building, if I've got it right, looks to have been built in the 1960's when there was quite a bit of redevelopment of this shopping centre. The building was called Mees buildings. It was still there in the early/mid 1950's and I wondered if anything showed up on the Electoral Rolls for this time. It's such a strange name and I haven't heard it before. I would usually go to the library but this is not possible at the moment. I'm enclosing an image of the street directory which may help with names look-ups. Any help would be really appreciated which would get me started. Or a map so that I can see exactly where it was located. Thanks in advance.

For a start in 1913 a Lady living at Mees Buildings got one month‘s hard labour for stealing from the Gate Inn.

1914 a 4 year old boy living there was killed by an omnibus, and there is a mention in 1911.

Thanks Pedro, it's puzzling as there don't seem to be enough dwellings next to the corner plot to house 10 properties, or maybe they were subdivided. The properties further along seem to be large houses, not that that has anything to do with my query!

I should think the omnibus that killed the little boy was travelling down Jockey Road as I don't think there was any public transport on Boldmere Road in 1914.

The report says the boy was playing in Boldmere Road He lived at 3, Mees Buildings and the driver was driving towards Chester Road tram terminus, some little distance from the Park Hotel.

The accident was horrific and it was stated that there was only one omnibus on this route and never two passing each other. The Road was recommended to be widened.
