Mike, do you have any listing for 36 Watt Street, Handsworth please? I am thinking it might have been a greengrocers, but this family changed their occupation quite a bit.

Thanks

I'm afraid 36 watt St is not listed in 1904, 1908, 1912, 1913 or 1921

Thanks. I shall have to try something else, I want to know who was there in 1912. My gt gt grandmother was living there when she died. she was 99, so would not be living on her own. In 1911 she was with her son, who subsequently died. i suspect 36 Watt Street would have been her grandson, or granddaughter but which one I have yet to find out.

Many thanks
Shortie

The electoral roll for 1912 (which of course does not include any women) shows Edward Shepherd, with it marked "successive", which i think menas he was only there for part of the year, and also give saddress of 17 Crockett St, which is presumably the address he moved from or moved to

Thanks Mike, that is the name I wanted - Shepherd. My gt gt grandmother's daughter married Alfred Shepherd, so Edward would have more than likely been her son. Must look into this more. Great work Mike.
