Edward (Ned) Robinson 1901 born in Lanchester Durham

I have tried searching for information on Ned Robinson and his family for many years with no success. He married Mary and they had five children, all born in Lanchester in the early to mid 1920's before moving to live in Birmingham. Ned and Mary's oldest son was Fred Robinson.
I would dearly love to find any information about Ned and his family, he was my grandmother's half brother. I am very certain Ned and his children have since passed away, and I am not searching for information regarding living relatives.

I think they are still (or back) in Lanchester in 1939.

There is a death for an Edward Robinson Mar 1977 Bham, dob 8 Jan 1901. Searching the 1939 register for such brings up an Edward Robinson living at Deneside, Lanchester. Also there are a Mary A Robinson (wife) and a Mary Robinson b1931 (daughter). Daughter has a married name Wilkinson and there is a marriage for a Mary Robinson to a James Wilkinson reg. Jun 1949 Bham.
 
Seems to be the right family. There is a marriage for an Edward Robinson to a Mary A Hailes reg. Sep 1925 Durham.

Five children, all registered Lanchester - Frederick B, Jean F, Russell, Maureen and Mary though Russell and Maureen are reg. in consecutive quarters of 1929 so something not quite right.
 
Jean F was Jean Feathersonhaugh Robinson and she married 3 times (all Bham) - Henry McGrillen, Dennis Riley & Robert Wellings. Her death was reg. Dec 1993 Bham.

Frederick B was Frederick Bird Robinson. His death was reg. Sep1998 Bristol.

I suspect that Russell isn't theirs and Maureen is. She appears to marry a Harold C Joines reg. Mar 1948 Bham. Her death was reg. Jun 2020 Bham.
 
As Jean marries in 1946 and they are in Lanchester in 1939 it would seem to be the range for when they moved to Bham.

I think they are on the 1945 at 58 Tennyson Road and remain there. It also appears the name of the 5th and youngest child is Edna as she is listed there with her husband, John/Graham Peet in 1957.

No death reg. for her and she was probably born in 1933.
 
No, he appears to be the son of a Thomas Robinson and an Elizabeth A Hails. The reg. of his mmn as Hailes is the only instance for their family around that time. They are in Consett in 1939 with I assume Elizabeth's father.
