Hi there.

I have been to the Birmingham Reference library to-day and have viewed the required marriage certificate for John Sanders and Ann Cartwright at St.Bartholomew's church in Edgbaston dated 4 August 1806. John was a bachelor and Ann was a spinster. Both made their marks X on the register. The witnesses both carried the sur name NASH, one was Joseph and the other is not quite readable. It looks something like ANILBROW. The brow part is correct but i,m not sure about the first part?

Regards

Steve
