Eason L. surname interests

Re: surname interests

Hi Alf
None i'am afraid.
I am trying to trace the early racing history of my manx norton.I only had the engine & frame numbers to go on. I know that i was delivered to L&E Motors under the name of L.Eason in 1948 straight from the works.
Unfortunately no one by the name of Eason rode in the IOM TT races.
Perhaps it may have been one of his employes! I hoped that one of the old bikers of Birmingham would remember something.
Old Guys rule!

Re: surname interests

The 1950 electoral roll for 366 Stratford road states that L.Eason is Leonard L.D.Eason , living with Norah Eason.
