Thanks for this information. I have trouble getting past my grand fathers/mothers history.

have you got in touch with pam1511 who is also doing Earp am one of them ok - she more knowledgable than me - and finding it easier to get around this site and others

Hi Pam. as you can see I have not been on this site for a few years. My dad is Fredrick Earp my mum was Hilda (nee Kelly)

I knew a Fred Earp, used to be involved in camping and caravaning club, Mom and Dad went walking in the Lakes with him one year as Fred was also a keen walker,

I do not have the answer to your family request but as earpi is a unusual name and not many about
We had a Earp family living in Springfield street Ladywood in the mid fifties they was a youngish couple with young kids
The question is are there any siblings connections to your earls they had a couple of little kids and we all went to stewards street infants and junior school
They lived must around the corner from me I remember the earls family if you had any idea of any Christian names as I have an old friend whom
Lived virtually next door to them e was the mousdales there grand father was the famous fire officer people talk about and whom as been mentioned on here
Albert is the grand son whom is my old school friend whom I recently had contact with him and his wife was my wife close friends at school
It was a shock when we found out so I may be able to asked questions to him as he may or not be able to remember there name in christian names

Hi, There were 4 sisters, Bertha born 1908, Annie Born 1910, Dorothy Born 1915 and Muriel the youngest born 1918. The family didn't seem to keep in touch with each other accoding to 2 of my cousins. It would appear that none of my cousins are alive apart from one and myself. Details of my mothers life are scetchy which is why I asked if anyone worked with her as it would be good to know a bit of her life before her marriage and leaving Birminghan for Wolverhampton.

There were no males born to Earp so the name didn't carry on once they married.

I worked with a Graham Earp at Triplex Safety Glass in Kings Norton in the late 1960's. I don't know which part of Birmingham he came from. Hope this helps.
