Does anyone remember this bus crash?

When I read the line does anyone remember this bus crash, I immediatetly thought it was refering to a crash that took place at the island underneath the flyover near Bordeslet Station.. I can remember a bus hit the horse drawn Milk wagon. In the late 50's or very early 60's I suppose. You've never seen so many broken bottles. Anyway, I think it was a friday evening, and I was off to the paper shop to fetch the Topper and the Beano and I told the man in the paper shop what had happened. Of course it was in the Evening Despatch the next day and for years I was convinced it was because I had told the man in the paper shop. Shows how daft I was as a nipper. I know, you think I haven't changed much, Thats probably true, I'm still good looking and modest.

Blue Nose Dek, that's cos I was brought up within yards of St Andrews, local team support and the fact that I didn't have a Cockney accent, so I couldn't support Manchester United.
