I would like to find out as much as possible - eg. witnesses, addresses, occupations etc - about the following marriages:

1. William Detheridge to Ann Barnett on July 26th 1783

2. William Detheridge to Susanna Probatt on February 17th 1755

and the following christenings:

1. John Detheridge - September 17th 1756

2. Mary Detheridge - July 18th 1757

Any information will be much appreciated.

william detheridge marriage to ann barnett on jun 26th 1783 both of this parish and bachelor and spinster. witnesses joseph and elizabeth westwood.

william detheridge marriage to susanna probatt was on 17th nov 1755. both of this parish. witnesses were henry and sarah scambler.

christening of john detheridge on sep 17th 1756 john son of william and susanna detheridge

christening of mary detheridge on jul 18th 1757 mary daughter of william and susanna detheridge

this is all the info on records. note that two of the dates you have given are incorrect
 
theres these marriages at st. martins also which you may be interested in

william detheridge of this parish bachelor and mary probat of this parish spinster married 12th feb 1787. witnesses mary lomax and george jones

and william cox of this parish widower and ann detheridge of this parish widow married 27th feb 1791. witnesses francis jones and sarah bunn

The witness Elizabeth Westwood to William and Ann Barnet was born Elizabeth Detheridge she married Joesphon 24 Apr 1783 I think

From the information that you have given you are correcting an error which I was making. There were two William Detheridges married in the 1780s at St Martins, one in 1783 and another in 1787. Clearly one was the one you are refering to, to Mary Probat in 1787. As my branch of the family doesn't descend through John and Sarah Leaton it would appear that my ancestor was the William Detheridge that married Ann Barnett in 1783, and that he wasn't the son of the William Detheridge who married Susanna Probatt.

Whilst researching my own Detheridge ancestors, no connection with yours as I can find, I stumbled across William Detheridge. Button Maker, Suffolk Street 1780/81, UK directories listed on Ancestry, then shortly after in 1785, Susanna Detheridge Button Maker, Suffolk St.
