A few features of the bridge were described in 1937. This section of the road has undergone many changes since that time, even to the point of greening up some of its verges in recent years.

Not sure, but I think the photo copied below (and posted by the late Dennis Williams on another thread) probably shows the parapet railings described in the 1937 article. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
