Davies- Kenneth - Harborne

Hi

I'm looking for family of Kenneth Davies -Kenneth could of had middle name 'George' Kenneth, born abt 1920. It has been said he had two sisters and four brothers. He was a royal engineer in WW2 and had a son before he went to war. He may of spent some time in Kent after the war but would not of seen his son again from around 1948. I believe that Kenneth's last known address was St Johns Street, Harborne possibly cohabiting with Mary Miller (Miller-Mary's married name, both now deceased) It has been said that Kenneth was a bus driver and Mary was a clippie although I am not sure if this was in the Harborne area but this is how they supposedly met each other. Kenneth had children to Mary whilst living in Birmingham. Kenneth emigrated with Mary and their children (I do know where he went to) in 1960.

Please PM me if you can help,
Thank you

Tam:

There is no Kenneth Davies emigrating with a Mary by sea in 1959 or 1960. With a quick glance, I can't spot them in Harborne Electoral Rolls between 1945 and 1960 either.

Hi Maurice, thank you for your reply and taking the time to check this out for me. I know why the emigration record won't show, I have the outward passenger record. It's tricky hence me posting here. Would you mind at all if I pm details to you for you to check the exact names/address shown on the record please?

Sure, no problem Tam. But I don't think you can attach images to private messages. Otherwise email me at maurice at msheppard dot com
