David Morris Inkerman House and Clarence Morris

Hi all,
I have recently learnt that my dad had a half brother named David. As far as I know he went by with David Morris or Rogers and his dad’s name was Clarence.
I believe he last lived at Inkerman house and died in 2015. I’d be really interested to know anyone that may have knew him as I can’t seem to find any information.

this is a bit difficult as you do not know for certain if he was david morris or david rogers..do you know when david was born...also did he marry...?

Hey, thanks for getting back to me.
He was born between April-June 1957. I am not sure if he married or had children.
 
sorry but ive looked on ancestry and so far i cant find a birth for either a david morris or david rogers between april and june 1957...the closest i can find is a david j rogers whos birth was registered in july 1957 with mothers maiden name of bagnall..

i take it he was born and died in birmingham ?

Thanks for looking. I have found his birth certificate on ancestry. He was born in Kidderminster to Hilda Mavis Rogers. I just bizarrely cannot find out anything else about him, not even a death certificate or notice or funeral or obit so all a huge mystery
 
ok thanks for that info..maybe other members can find him...could i ask how you know for certain that he died in 2015

Looks as if Milly can't find the death cert either so I am confused how she knows he died in 2015.
However, death could be overseas.
 
Are you sure he didn't die in 2012?

He is listed on the electoral rolls up until 2012 and there is a death reg, Mar qtr 2012 for a David John Morris, year of birth 1957.
 
Thank you all for your help, it’s all a bit of a mystery that I have learnt over the last 24 hours. My dad who did not know him either was given the year 2015 of his death and 1957 for his birth year. I also found him on the electoral roll today up till 2012 and then nothing after so you’re right it may be then rather than 2015.
 
i cant find a burial/cremation at any of the council run crems/cems but as as his last address is inkerman house newtown the nearest crematorium is perry barr crem which is not council run....if you want to find out for certain give them a ring they are very helpful and will usually look up records while you wait...just tell them his name and that he died january quarter 2012
