DAFFERN family of Birmingham.

Brock

master brummie
:confused2:
Selina Jane Ward married John Edward Daffern about 1899 & they lived in Liverpool Street in the Deritend area of Birmingham where they raised their family. In later years, Selina Daffern was known to have lived in the Billesley area of Birmingham.
If anyone is researching this same family I would be most grateful if you would contact me please.
Thomas Ward who was Selina's father was my great grandfather. I have gathered much info re. the family but I have discrepancies due to the family often calling children by different names to what they were registered & baptised as.

With many thanks,
Brock.

Re: The DAFFERN family of Birmingham.

HiBrock, I think Daffern is an unusal name, I worked at Royal Mail in Derby
for many years with a John Daffern, would he be related to your tribe?
Just a thought Bernard

Re: The DAFFERN family of Birmingham.

Hi there, many thanks for your reply.
I have no idea as yet what became of the various Daffern clan members but should I discover that this John Daffern was a part of the same family I will most certainly get back to you.
With Many Thanks,
Brock.
