Hi, my GGG.Grand uncle worked (along with his sons) as a bricklayer for a company called Cutlers, in the 1921 census its listed as being based at Cosehill Street.
I was wondering if anyone may have any photos or additional information?
The Cateswell Road, Hall Green Cutler (builder) was selling/renting out new houses in Solihull and Moseley in 1925. There were other houses for sale/rent in the same road in Solihull in 1924 and 1927.
Cutler was hon,.Secretary of the Hall Green Rugby Football Club.
I have found a couple of references in the newspapers and there seem to be several changes of address. Non are Cosehill Street (which I still think is Coleshill) and I wonder if that was just a job they were on rather than the builder's address.
This one in 1924 puts the builders in Cateswell Road as referred to earlier
By 1936 it looks as if the firm was in trouble but no address given.
