Custodian of Chambers

Hi , everyone,
Could someone please tell me what Custodian of Chambers means please,
as it is down on the census form of someone in the family tree I am doing.

After seeing the other the other thread in connection with this post. I would think Custodian of Chambers in this instance means, Caretaker of Quadrant Chambers, they used to be a building containing different business offices that was located on the corner of New St and Worcester St in the City.
 
Thanks pmc1947. for your quick reply, we have been wondering what it was, we thought it might be something like solicitors / lawyers, in a court room, because they call court rooms chambers don't they,

A lot of these office buildings had live in custodians, and to my personal knowledge still did up until the time that I retired. I used to deal with them arranging things like parking and working times every time we worked in the City.
